As long as its not for money I can do it. My job wont let me do it if money is involved, I guess for some reason is a conflict of interest if its for money.  Some of are guys do coyote work for a living for wildlife services, but I'm stuck in a shop all year so I dont know how that works. :dunno:

meet and greet dog hunt if fine by me.  I take the pass all the time in the winter, so no worries there for me.  Ny truck can take 4-5 of us plus gear over anytime.

Put me down for the WEST side. I actually live in SW Wash. Near Vancouver. That would be fun, meet up with other Coyote Hunters, get some advice, tips, etc... At least we would all have so much in common, would be fun.

I just started this year, and really haven't had much success. Only called in 2.. :dunno: :dunno: I have many places to hunt, about 10 areas. Mostly private land. And have been out about 40 times, at about 4 to 6 stands each time..argh!

Cheers

I feel your pain!  I have only called in one and missed him at 50 yards.

I was at my Grandma and Grandpa's this afternoon sitting in their living room and a friggin coyote walked right by on their sidewalk!! They live in the back of a neighborhood on a pond in Puyallup, so there are lots of eagles, rabbits, ducks, etc. but a COYOTE?? I know they are in suburban areas and it was stupid as hell too. I walked outside, mouse squeaked at it and it froze about twenty yards from me. I could of greased it with a slingshot. :chuckle: My grandma said she had been seeing it the last couple  mornings. They need to whack it before it kills their cat. Crazy stuff right there :o

I'm game, but if it's in the Basin area, I'll have to hitch a ride with someone.

Good idea, Rick!

Could have a Coyote/Bobcat Meet & Greet hunt on the wet side and hope someone gets one! Hunt your way there, meet someplace to brownbag midday, hunt the PM daylight, meet for Dinner... Maybe the Meet & Greet that's already being planned for Jan?

But if we're talking Coyote Contest scaled down to a meet & greet/see who gets the most, where we want to do a few stands and have a good chance to bag up some dogs, it's gotta be East side.

Sounds like fun and I bet more bull gets shot then yotes.

Michelle and I had discussed this last year, but didn't know if many would be interested. The westside is hard for most folks to gain access to good areas so we are stuck with timber lands that are thicker than thick.
