Maybe it is a bob-yote.
The lights are homes in the city of Kent WA West of me. I live in the county just East of Kent. There is a county trail and small stream valley between Kent and my place named Soos Creek Trail.

KCCO

The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong in the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.
Ernest Hemingway, A Farewell to Arms, 1929

The tail is there. It was moving so it is a blur. Here is another shot. Odd that one is at 4:30 in the morning and the other 8:30 at night.
