Konus makes a good product for the price.  Their glass is good and bright, and the hardware is sturdy.  Now thats not saying that they are the same as a $5000 USO scope, but for the money they are really nice scopes, and come with a lot of upgrades that you normally get in higher end scopes.

Also, check out their warranty, which is top notch and its lifetime replacement, not just repair.  They also have a cool program that is if you are out on a hunt, break your scope they will overnight you a new one for free to continue your hunt with... No matter how it got broken or damaged.  Unless they did away with it... I can't seem to find anything about it now on their site now...

Had a custom made .260 made for long range shooting.  I ran into my budget early and decided against an expensive scope.  I threw a konus m30 on the rifle for a short term fix, that was 4 yrs ago, I couldn't be happier.  Was equivalent to putting a pinto bumper on a Ferrari, but is very functional - tracks well.

Just got back from the range with the scope after getting it mounted and it was easy to sight in and get on target, can't wait to get out and kill some coyotes with it
