I ate this tag three years ago. It was really dry up there and had a hard time getting into them. However, I had my opportunities. The first one came by way of a spike that we spotted off of the road while driving. In an attempt to put the musket cap on I dropped it and and made the rookie mistake of not having any in my pocket. The second came by way of my cap going off but not my powder. In my rifle, the cap can be hard to get off sometimes. It proved to be very difficult in this situation and the cow ran off. It is a great unit though. I would say I am jealous but i finally drew observatory bull...

I am scouting the hell out of 336. If your interested in partnering up for a scouting day trip on a sunday I would love to split gas money and am happy to drive. (2008 F150 crew cab 4x4)  I don't know a lot about the area yet but I plan on spending all the free time I can there.
I was up there last sunday and am going for a three day scouting tip starting this saturday.
I was lucky enough to see a monster of a 6x6 last sunday.
I have a cow permit and bull permit for this same area. (modern)
If your not interested in scouting together I would be happy to share notes.
