I got mine in august from Amizon.com for 368, with a 50 dollar rebate i paid 318 for it. My brother in law bought his from an authorized dealer on ebay cheeper than i got mine. |

I believe the 520 and 530 designation does not have the sensitivity....older units. The 520 Hcx and the 530 Hcx both do.....newer units. |

I can get a signal down stairs in my house in the middle away from any window!!!! You are not going to get those results with any of the other units. IMO it doesn't matter what the difference in cost is to the 520's or older 530 ... if you are going to buy make sure it is a hcx!!! |

Oh and the other big difference thay changed in the hcx over the others is the compass is digital ... you don't have to be running along at 2 miles and hour or above to get it to initiate, you can stand in one spot and it will work as you turn. :) |
