Congrats, I know those fire restrictions at the last minute caused some real confusion as and frustration as far as the hunting was concerned. Way to get er done!

Yea was a bit frustrating for the two guys with bull tags.  Never got dialed in.

I'm going to scout out 342 this off season incase we draw again.

Both sides measure 24 inches long. Not bad!

Finally finished the skull mount.  Boiled him up, bleached it with peroxide and mounted it on the skull hooker that i got at cabelas.  Looks really cool set away from the wall and was super easy to mount.

That one was when I was 12 and living back in Montana.  Took him with rifle down in the Missouri River Breaks.

That's a really cool looking mount! And it sounds like you put it together for relatively little expense.

Any reason you still have the tag on there? As I understand the regs, that stays with the meat. (only pointing it out in case you thought it had to stay on the antler).

Yea the mount I think was $40-45 with a discount at cabelas, so $59 reg.  Not bad. The smaller one for deer I think is regular $39
