--- Quote ---Ideal truck would be the Chevy ride, Ford sized with a NEW cummins....with Toyota mileage.. --- End quote --- i work for dodge. the new 6.7 cummins has some issues that need to be resolved before i buy one. any of you guys with a 6.7 cummins that gets a check engine light and need it fixed...pm me. if you haven't yet, you will have a soot problem that causes the turbo to get plugged up...it's a huge repair. apparently the only way the problem won't happen is if the truck is getting worked hard all the time. i really like chevy trucks...it's all i've ever owned. i like the dodge trucks, but because i am a big guy 6'4" 230, the driver seat bugs me...seems too narrow. can't beat the chev interiors or the ride quality, and the duramax/allison trans is bombproof. bottom line is they are all good trucks...just depends on what you like. |
