Thanks

:yeah:There's a ton of info on this site in the bear forums. Most of the people here are gearing up towards deer and elk and don't have a whole lot of time to get out for bear. You shouldn't have any problem if you do some scouting and spend a lot of time glassing. I've seen 4 bears this year but didn't shoot any but it took a lot of hours behind the glass to see them. If you find any sign that's a good first step. Patience is the key. Get away from human traffic (roads) and glass til your eyes get crossed. Good luck!

Not counting my trail cameras, I have spotted 14 bears so far this year. I have photographed five that I have posted on this site this year and still don't have one in the freezer.  Kind of weird for me, I have spent a lot of time in the berry areas that normally produce and have seen just one there and hardly any sign there. I did find where one took out a fawn and several just at the edge of big timber. Some were shooters and things just did not work out right and others were either sows or cubs. Still plenty of time.
