Whitetail fresh off the griddle

i just do taxidermy for fun, and I'm self taught. i just finished this 07 WT shot buy a friends 9 year old daughter. this is her first buck

Any animal with a bow is a trophy.               IAFF

I think she will be happy with her trophy! Nice job for a do it yourselfer  :chuckle: Good job Travis! Get that elk cape taken care of yet or am I gana have to come up there and get it from you  :chuckle:

I forgot to say I'm self taught but I hit up Bucklucky for how to info. i used his deer nose pictorial to paint the nose  ;) Thanks Charlie
and little Willy's wonders tanned the cape. and they did a great job. very professional and just nice guys. Thanks Paul

I was going to say Travis you need to come down and I can teach you a few things I have learned from some awesome taxidermists. And some simple things that help too. Looks like you have a pretty good start for being self taught!  ;)

Charlie, I need to scheduled some time to bring my elk cape down. if you want to help me turn the eyes ears and nose  :chuckle: and maybe show me how to pressure wash the cape. so i can get it salted and sent out  :tup:

Nice job, that looks good Travis.  Lonnie said you did some taxi on the side for fun.  Good hobby for a natural born killer.  Hope your boy is feeling better.  Me and mine just got rid of the crud after about a month of coughs.  You couldn't tell tonight though with all the runnin around for Halloween. :whoo:
