In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Another great Trad night in the books. We wrapped up the open shoot with a couple of games of Battleship!

Will you allow folks to shoot for fun (not compete) and use a range finder on Saturday if they don’t shoot with a competing shooter?

Yes just be quiet and polite so as not to mess with everyone else that is.

Can't tell you how many times some one has said "hey guys it's 40 yards"  at something just less than a yell. Perhaps this part of the standard banter can be done at a subdued volume...

Hope to see you there and have a good time.

Great shoot today fellas.  It was a little chilly at 7:45 though!  A good mix of targets over the course. Thank you.

Shot the range for the first time, set my pins to 60 and enjoyed the weather.  Great place.

Full night at trad night! We had to rotate through on the line. That and I got to learn how to fletch my own arrows.

A big thank you to Doug Crouter and Larry Thurman Aka El Presidente for making another dedicated 3d target hauling trailer.

Trad night was fun. I was trying out some new slivers. 6" feathers on 400spine arrows with 250 grain tips launched off my 45lb Samic Sage still not quite point on but they feel a lot better than my really light arrows.

We are having our Traditional only shoot this weekend. We had a work party on Saturday to number the targets and work on layout. The Flying pig got a fresh coat of paint and we worked on other targets.

8am start on Saturday. We will have a string shoot, and a challenge shoot  on Sunday just before awards.

Hope to see you there!
