2nd Annual Salmon for Soldiers 2014
« on: November 20, 2013, 01:24:46 PM »
Got the call from Randy yesterday that the 2014 Salmon For Soldiers event will be Saturday September 13th. We will be having a planning meeting January 4th, I will keep everyone up to speed as this event unfolds. 2013 was a great time, I have already told Randy I think we can do better in 2014

Right in the middle of high hunt, archery elk and archery deer....
Hope that doesn't affect turnout.

Unfortunately it might  :dunno:  But reality is for next year that will be right in the middle of the Coho run which is by far (on even years) the most abundant Salmon fishing.

This is pretty cool of you guys to do.  I know it's a long ways off yet, my Sailors have been busting their a$$es for me for the last 8.5 months on deployment.  How would I go about nominating a couple (2) of them to head out with somebody in September?

Tentatively count me in w/ boat.  Today the plan is to be in the woods but if not, this former squid would love to help out.

I will be at the January 4th meeting and after that will have more info for you. Shouldn't be a problem getting them signed up either.
