  Your hunting in some real good spots. Sounds like your doing everything right, now you just need patience. My cousin hunted for 7 years before he got his first buck,each year he learned something new and implemnted it into his hunting style. He got frustrated he got pissed but he never gave up. I had hunted for 13 years before getting my first deer, and ever since then I have gotten one . I learned the if  you hunt to hard it made hunting work and not fun anymore. After I spent time almost all year looking at maps, going out and scouting the areas with out bumping deer, and just flat out taking my time when I was out that I saw more animals/deer come season.

Its not always about getting a deer its about the time spent in the woods with friends and/or family.

Well i don't think it was a blacktail if your hunting over by spokane. That was probably a good desicion on not shooting that deer before identifing him. Good to see you got on to a buck! hope you can get him!!!! Remeber take lots of PICS
