Take $16 bucks over to the Office Depot, purchase a Washington Delorme' Atlas. This book shows about every creek and back country road in the state. Pick an area, take a drive out and start exploring. That book has helped me explore so much of the state, couldn't have done it without the book.

:yeah: And I went to the BLM office here and got their maps of the areas I hunt, and used a hi-liter to transfer the areas of public land onto the Delorme Atlas pages.  Makes it a handy size, and the BLM maps don't have the road names, but the Atlas does!  And there's really a lot more public land around than you think.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"
