Looking for seasoned hunters

Hello! I am a 15 year old new hunter who is looking for a seasoned hunter to email for questions and to teach me things that I need to know to become a great, versitile hunter! Right now i am focusing on Turkey, Ducks, and Coyotes. I will be using a Stoeger M3500 semi-auto shotgun

Above all other lessons you learn, remember this:

Camouflage, Camouflage, Camouflage.

Birds can see in color... that is why the males are brightly colored (so they can impress and attract a female). Because they can see in color... they are really good at picking up on small subtle differences.
Why do you think the Duck Commander himself, is so adamant about face paint??

Coyotes are Predators. They litterally exist off of catching glimpses of subtle movements of their prey.
So camouflage is important to not stand out.

 

This was one of the best tips I ever got as a young hunter. Camo, above all else.

Hey young...if your after ducks...I could probably hook ya up with a dozen or so used (and in mediocre shape) duck decoys. Nothing wrong with em but a few dollars in paint from walmart could make em much better. If your interested PM me. I work at JBLM so not too far from Puy. While duck hunting can get tricky...a shotgun and some decoys are almost all a true beginner needs to start his/her duck hunting career.
