Is anyone willing to rent or lease there bird dog for a weekend or two? Really want to go bird hunting but dont have a bird dog yet.

Many hunting preserves (pay to play) operations have bird dogs on site. Not sure if they "rent" them or send a handler out with you while you hunt but it could be what your looking for. I haven't been to one of those operations for many years so I can't recommend one for you. Maybe Redd's in Ellensburg?

Id be pretty surprised if a guy would rent a dog out without him being there, I wouldn't let anyone I don't know hunt my dogs. Best bet would be to book a hunt with an outfitter :twocents:
