I drew a Chiliwist late buck permit in 2001. Shot a 4X4. Not much weather that year. |

I pulled a moose permit with 3 points in 2002. About gave me a heart attack. I still haven't even drawn a deer tag yet. Most of you have seen how it turned out. A nice Boone/Pope and Young Shiras. Since then, the obsession of moose hunting has taken over. More than one dollar has been spent scouring the planet for the next moose hunt. |

i have only put in 1 time for muzz elk and did not get drawn. this will be my first year for deer. nothing else ever for me. i'm still learning the ropes. I guess as a transplant from the northeastern U.S. i was always just happy with the general season. i started doing some looking into permits a couple years ago, but didn't apply. |
