I drew Peaches ridge archery in '02 and killed a 240" 6 point. No digitalized pics of him. Awesome hunt! Hope to draw it again. I was hoping to kill a big bull but having a screaming 6 point in front of me at 20 yards got the best of me and I let fly. No regrets. It's amazing to me that the success rate for the archery hunt is only 15-17 %. |

I drew a late season permit last year, Dec. 2006, and got my first mature bull. I'm having a shoulder mount of the bull, but looking around the house I don't know where I'll put it. I thought the meat would be gamey because it hung longer than I usually allow, but cooked over the gas grill is best. :drool: |
