Trail cam question

HntnFsh:
I'm going to buy 2 or 3 cams here pretty quick so I can get them set up for my Dayton muzzy hunt. Will be headed over the week after next to put them up. Ive read the post by Billythekidrock about cams. Awesome write up.

I was thinking about cams in the under a $100 range plus accessories like SD cards, locks, boxes etc. wondering what you guys suggest for cameras. Want something that will take decent pics. Easy to operate. Cheaper the better. Even though cheaper isnt usually better. I know the old saying. You get what you pay for.

If you have any links to the cams I would appreciate that too.

 Thanks,
HntnFsh

I can't say good enough about the basic or even fancy Bushnell Trophy cam. If you look around sometimes you can find some very good deals....I picked up my last one at Cabellas for $125. Biggest draw for me even if you do spend a little more than 100 is the size is very compact, easy to use, and they simply go a long long time on 8 AA batteries. I know you can spend less but if you are changing out much more expensize C's then really you aren't saving much. Amazon, Cabelas, Bass Pro...just poke around and look for good deals.

Look on eBay. There are a bunch of packages for multiple cams with boxes cards etc. Pretty hood deals. I like moultrie .

Natchez Shooter Supply sells demo's and refurb's. That's where I'd be looking.  All of my pictures come from Demo model Bushnell Trophy cam's. I'd only buy cameras that run on a bunch of AA batteries. It seems like the ones using D's or C's go through them quickly.

That's not the camera I have but it's worth a look. There's a bunch more Bushnell's listed there too.

I'd get SD cards from Amazon. Something like this would be a good one:
