Remington 700 ML bolt question.
« on: August 02, 2014, 11:59:42 AM »
I bought used Remington 700 ML. I'm trying to clean the bold and having hard time unscrewing the firing pin. I have the bold impassibly tool.
I tried self adjusting pliers, sprayed some wd40 inside and that didn't help.

Any ideas?

Thanks

you need to go to remington web sight and download the manual for the muzzleloader it shows you how to take the thing apart

I just push the end (that strikes the cap) down on a hard surface and unscrew it. Never used any tools.

Thanks for your guys replies. The Remington website didn't have specific instructions. I had to remove the firing pin first.

Thanks
