No real tips on spots, but if you are looking for a rug late September early October is usually best.  I think the best eating too!

Do you have a health food store close by that is full of Birkenstock wearing, tree hugging, hairy arm pit women and greasy bud smelling hippies?  If you do, put on your best Rainbow tie dyes and hang out there for a few hours.  Ask everyone who comes by if they have had any good huckleberry picking this year.  Should lead you to the best bear spots

He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Good luck, theres more bear towards gold bar... Lake chaplain has too many restricted areas and closed just about everywhere... Same goes as well as Spada lake.... Continue down the highway

I was up there today just trying to have a look around. I noticed some of those yellow gates say private property but say recreational day use allowed. I ended up finding a gate that was open closer to the end of the paved road. I got nervous that someone was gonna lock me in so i left...the only reason I wasn't in my normal spot is due to some jack wagon riding his dirt bike right through the area I was hunting...so ticked.
Mongo only pawn in game of life.

Had the same thing happen yesterday.  Ended up leaving as well.  Luckily it was later in the day and I had wandered thru most of the area I was in.
