Great Day of training
« on: August 24, 2014, 06:35:39 PM »
Well trying to put it all together before grouse season so I got some Quail from Josh In Toleto. He has a good deal on Tibetan quail right now and they did they trick for me. I am glad I found someone that sells birds for dog training. He is concerned about their flying abilities and does everything he can to make sure we have good training birds. I found it really hard to find birds for training in the Olympia area and finally went to an auction where I meet Josh and found out about his business. If you need training birds he is your man 360-304-0870. All of my birds where healthy running flying machines.

I also contact another board member to see if he wanted birds and he declined but invited me to his place to plant them and show me his place. He has a great family and it was a pleasure to do some gundog training with him.  His place was prefect for the training I wanted to do for grouse. I had a great time there and Pam performed descent Broke once and did as expected otherwise so I walked away very happy with her for the day. I cant wait for opener and cant wait to hunt with my new friend and his dog Red.

Life is good and going to be better on September 1st. I cant wait!!! First year hunting behind a dog and with new friends. Its going to be something else.
