I don't know about slow. My E35 flings a 532gr arrow @ 293fps. That's a fair amount of energy down range. I'll have to check out the new line up

He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

You obviously know more on this subject than me.

Does Elite laminate their own limbs or are they "turn key" from Gordon?  Just curious.

Got my questions answered from my Elite contact.  Guess he is no longer with the company so if things changed in the past year this may not be accurate.

Barnsdale is (or at least was) doing the laminating for Elite!  That would explain the high quality of the fit and finish ;)

Over on the elite forum Pete said that they now make their limbs themselves in house. If its like everything else elite makes they should still be great quality.

Barnsdale is a little spendy, so that would not surprise me.  They have been changing a lot recently and that would make sense.  I have yet to visit the new facility.  Friends who have say it is very impressive!!  One even thought it put the Bowtech facility to shame :yike:

I apologies I was unable to get more recent information.  I only had the one contact there so I guess I now have no contact ;)  I'll be sure to ask more questions and try to make new contacts at the show this year!

Speed isn't everything and 330fps isn't really that slow. :twocents:  I've shot a few elites and the speed lose isn't that noticeble with the way they shoot.
