Alaskan Bull Moose. Seward Peninsula
« on: October 06, 2014, 09:43:53 PM »
Went out last week and did some freezer filling. Figured I'd visit here and say hey. I live in Nome. Go kill a couple bulls every year ride about 200 miles round trip. Camp on the tundra in tents spend about 6-8 days looking for the bulls we want. Always a good time.
Hope all you have a good safe season.

I love the Seward Penninsula. I took three bulls off the Kougarok Rd. in my time there. Some great scenery and char fishing too. Ever see any musk ox? I ran into them twice.

That is very cool, congrats. Thanks for sharing the pictures and story. Is that part on the penninsula a permit area?

If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
"HOYT" why would you even consider shooting something else?
