Photo Safari 11/7/14
« on: November 07, 2014, 08:57:26 PM »
Well it was a great day.  Me and tme223 went out looking to take a few pics of deer and maybe find a bear.  Well we did both.  tme223 took his first bear and we got a few good pics.

The later pictures are a little blueish and maybe blurry.  It was right at dusk and I was trying something new with the camera.  It didn't work out to well, but I though I would share anyway.

Sounds like a  fun day out, regardless of how the photos turned out.

Remember to set the proper color temperature . You'll typically get bluer color cast when your white balance is set to a warmer color temp than the actual lighting. So if it's partially cloudy and you go from shooting daylight to clouds rolling overhead, it's best to flip the white balance to cloudy or even shade (if it's thick, dark clouds). If you really want to see blue set the white balance to tungsten and go out and shoot in sunny daylight.  :yike:

Some cool pictures for sure. Great little group of deer, good luck as you get out more looking forward to seeing what you get next.
