These guys were a bit more nervous, but they soon settled down.  I was going to nickname this new guy forks as he had a set.

Thats probably about it for tonight.  I have some deer with bigger antlers to get on film tonight.  I'm ready for him.  I could care less about catching the man in the red suit on film.  I want to see the bone on those sled pullin critters heads.
Merry Christmas everyone!  Enjoy your families tomorrow.  God bless you.

Wierd....I'll have to check settings, but the brighter the sunshine the worse my pics got.  Not used to that.  Anyhow, this guy was a long ways away......but he was a decent buck.

This next buck was literally huge but a young one.  This guy will be Boone next year>  I hope I got better pics of him than this last guy but he was a long ways away.  I'm not sure if its the same buck one of our members was telling me about.  He wasn't very far away from where he was sighted in the rut.  I should have spent more time analyzing his rack  I had the spotter on him, but was moreinterested in getting him on film.  He just had his head in the bush and at that distance I felt I needed all the backgroud I could round up.   He is thinner than I like normally and that was his only real downfall, and I don't think he had eyeguards, or at least I didn't note them staring through my viewfinder.  I haven't looked at the pics much so lets see what I saw.  In two years this buck will be phenomenal.  Again, even next year he should be a DANDY
