I hope there is a misunderstanding somewhere....
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

>:( come back with some facts. There were alot of stories going around about where it came from. Thats not too unusual with an animal of this calibur. This is a special bull. If a guy doesn't want to share all the details or location, he shouldn't be expected to. That doesn't mean it was a shady hunt. I don't know the hunter but this bull doesn't deserve to be defamed without facts. The forensics story is hard to believe. This all sounds like bull *censored* to me. Without facts all threads like this will accomplish is gossip and preventing successful hunters from posting pictures.
Couldn't agree more.

I think everything I posted was factually.

The guy in that picture and those antlers were at the sportsman's show.  He arrived Saturday about 1:30 pm with them on his back, pretty tough to not get some attention with a rack like that on your back. They were entered as a Cascade Roosevelt elk, they scored 387 3/8", it said killed with archery equipment in King County 2014 and he did get best in show and a prize, just not sure if it was a gift certificate for a savage rifle or something else but he was there to receive the prize.

I was trying to clear up some of the rumors that were stated in this thread.

I don't know all the stories about how, where and when so I didn't comment on those just what I knew to be true from what I saw at the show.

I would love to know the rest of the story but understand why many of the details wouldn't be shared.  There is always controversy with big animals like this and that is too bad.  Some of the time it is relevant but most of the time it is not.  Who knows how this one will turn out or if it will just fade away.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

If this is the bill you're talking about your story is not accurate.
Saw this same guy walking around with a medallion around his neck for winning yesterday afternoon at the show.  Here is the picture of the rack

Hold on, no need to call anyone a liar. We've all seen how threads can grow like wildfire. It's odd to me that a Leo would talk before the case was closed.
