For the socks bunching issue, I have a trick using electrical tape around the ankle that I posted in this thread:

May that for which I prepare never come to pass.

Can't walk can't hunt!  :chuckle:

Haha so true ... whats funny is that before you have kids you never thought of having a supply in your backpack after you have kids you wonder how you got by without them!  :chuckle:
I spent a great deal of $ on baby wipes when I was in the middle east, my appreciation for wet wipes was started in basic training. glad I learned early, I keep some in my truck and in my pack.

Maybe some people like the ease of application when all you have to do is remember yellow to the front / brown to the back :dunno:

Cabela's has been running a good sale lately.  Think I paid just over $18 last week.  New shorts at used price :chuckle:
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

The Laser isn't available for shipping into the US.  :bdid: Smossy, you would hurt yourself, anyway, or SG. You really need to stick to blunt, light, rubber things too large to fit in your nose or ears.

Puma Hunter knife

http://ads.midwayusa.com/product/129890/puma-classic-series-white-hunter-fixed-blade-knife-59-drop-point-german-14116-stainless-steel-blade-stag-handle?cm_vc=ProductFinding

Heavy enough to chop with. Skins, guts, cuts.   Mine from the 1960's has the wood handle though.

Steve
I have that same knife. A hand me down from my dad, probably late 60's early 70's, mine has the bone handle. It is a beast. Sharp as all get out and holds and edge very well. I let mine get tarnished/rusted a bit from a wet sheath  :bash:

Case XX Changer.....compact, quality workmanship and everything I need in a small package in the field.  Like them so much that I have purchased several as gifts for others over the years.  Just a nice quality made in the USA item.
