Looking forward to getting one! If it's anything like all the other Glocks I own it should be a great handgun. When I purchased my Glock 42, I figured the 9mm version wouldn't be too far behind. Made in the U.S of A also. ;)

Currently my Glock 42 is my first choice for my back up piece and for when I absolutly don't want to "Print". From my research on the 43, it's just about the same size as the 42. It's sure to be a big seller but then again Glocks been dominating the handgun market since their arrival.

I'll probably pick one up eventually, but it will play second fiddle to my g26. I'll take the capacity and magazine interchangeability any day of the week!

We will grab the first two we see also.
Hope they don't have any bugs to work out.

Wonder if the next will be a 40?

I'm torn between this and the smith and wesson shield. I have shot the shield and like it so I will have to decide after shooting the glock.

Glad to finally see Glock getting on the bandwagon and offering a compact, single stack 9mm. Others have been offering them the past couple years. Should be a nice shooting gun! ☺

I ordered one up.  Just waiting for it to arrive.  Same length and height as the G26.  Only difference is the width.  The G42 is only 1" wide.  Hopefully it doesn't have some of the issues the G42 had.  I like the Glocks and will switch over to this as my new carry gun.  Hopefully they make some mag extensions as 6+1 places it behind a few of the other .9's.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

I still don't see a need for a super small single stack. in a carry gun I want capacity and stopping power that's why I carry a G20. If i was going to carry a .380 I would be more than happy to carry a G25.

You carry a Glock 20 as an everyday carry gun? Wow. That thing is a boat anchor. Love it, but too big for edc.

I know some "Fat boys" that can't even conceal a G20. :chuckle:

I may pick one up someday but for now I can't imagine it will replace my Shield.  I am a Glock fan but they missed the boat by not getting this thing to the market sooner.  I'm sure it will sell and sell well but my single stack 9mm niche has been filled already.

Not to mention I doubt the G43 will come in around the $370 price point of the shield.
