Twin lakes used to have some big ones in the south lake.  I haven't fished there in years but I'd try it, plus they recently stocked it with trout so you could have a good outing either way. Good luck

My son caught a nice bullhead several years back out of Flowing.  Worms in shallow water.  I think it was sometime during the summer.  I'll look for a picture.

A bit further North…Lake Terrell has channel catfish to over 20lbs. However, the shore fishing is limited and it is best fished by a boat.

I've seen probably a 15lb dead one at Twin lakes by the freeway there.  I've seen one and caught one in Sunday lake up by Stanwood.

:yeah: Caught some there a few years ago ..the best catfishing is at night ...Night crawler dipped in Vanilla extract ...my best catfish bait ..With a slide sinker and 2 ft of leader and a little air in the crawler to keep him off the bottom

We used to catch good sized ones in Lake Stevens, south end at night. Was a number of years ago...  :twocents:

Thanks for the ideas. Twin lakes is close to home, maybe we'll try there. Anybody else have luck here? I wonder what time of year the catfish start getting active?

I read that they start getting active when the water temp reaches 55 degrees.
