Grande Ronde Elk Muzzleloader tag

I pulled the Grande Ronde muzzle bull tag. Any good info from people familiar with this unit would be gladly appreciated. I've fished steelhead on this river for years but have never been down there in October. Thank You

Could be okay. small unit, surrounded by private land, borders Oregon. I've seen some dandy's there, unfortunately once they get pushed, they typically head out of the area/gmu and it doesn't take long. Very difficult hunt, when are the dates?

Its Oct. 3- 11. Ill be the only one hunting elk in there and I hope it isn't full of deer hunters. I've spent hours looking at Bing earth and have some good ideas where to start. Ill be putting boots on the ground as soon as this heat wave goes away. Its 107 in Lewiston today lol. I need to contact RockinJ Ranch to see if I might access there property. Any info is gladly appreciated
