I'm convinced.  I will buy one right now if somebody can dig up a coupon code for us. :hello:

Ditto!  And um, since I started the thread originally...  I had no idea it would generate this much discussion.  Thanks again guys.

Guys, I sent the owner of Poison Arrow Decoys (James) a note asking if he's interested in perhaps running a 4th of July sale for his products for the esteemed members of the Hunt WA forum, perhaps knocking XX percent off... we'll see.  I probably need to get another decoy model or two myself  ;).

Nice of you to do, even though I missed out!  :cryriver:

Awesome James!

I have killed many cows with my bow, I guess it's just hard to get an idea of the proportions without the rest of the animal. This cow probably had the largest head, and of course body, of any that I have ever seen. I wonder how she compares? Lol :D

Just ordered one myself.  thanks for the discount poinonarrow. Ive always been interested in using a decoy just never picked one up.  Im curious to know if anyone has ever mounted one on a muzzleloader.  :dunno:  I would also be curious to know if the cow elk decoy would work on mule deer that have never even seen an elk before.  :dunno: does anybody have any experience with that?
It's not the size of the trophy that make's it a trophy.

BL, the decoy is mounted on the last arrow in your quiver so not sure about a ML mount?  Maybe. Oh, you know PAG makes a sweet looking muley doe face, yes?

I was thinking that there might be a way to mount it to the ram rod  :dunno: either way I will use it for elk even if I have to hold it in my hand. I might even  let my buddies use it on their peaches tag.  Gonna try it out for deer as well. I saw the mule deer doe, but I can only afford one right now. I was drawn for the archery skok quality buck tag. I know those bucks have seen elk so im thinking it would work on them.  Figured I would try it out on some mule deer this year as well.

You may be on to something.  I betcha that cow face will hold their attention just fine.  I put a spot/stalk on a nice Blacktail buck during my WA elk hunt last year and never even thought about deploying the PAG cow face.  I like your thinking sir.
