Can I exchange my wife's tag???
« on: September 26, 2015, 07:28:33 AM »
Bought the wrong tag when I went to do apps for permits.  I never submitted her deer app and forgot to exchange her tag prior to September.  Can I still exchange her modern rifle tag for an archery tag since her "modern season" haven't even started?  And she never put in for deer permits?  Thanks

The deadline to exchange modern firearm tags is October 10th, so I think you should be able to do so. Look at page 5.

I was gonna direct my question to you specifically bobcat.  You always have an idea.  Now can Walmart do it today is the question?

No, probably not. I think it has to be done Monday thru Friday, when the WDFW is open. Walmart will need to call and have the original tag removed from your account before they can issue the new one. At least that's how it was a couple years ago when I made an exchange.

If you have boughten an archery tag for her, Im almost 100% sure you can't exchange it for a modern firearm or muzzy tag, especially this late in the archery season. Hope the best for you and her though.
