Hope you permit holders know that your permit is not valid this weekend during the late season.

Also Vashon, Camano, and Whidbey.

That's weird.  Do you know why the dates are different for the late season 2nd deer?
I didn't buy one, but maybe I will next year!

My wife was drawn for the 2nd deer San Juan permit.  I didn't realize the dates were different than the general, and late seasons until I opened the permit 2 weeks ago.  (Also not valid on Halloween)  My first thought is that wdfw changed the dates to increase the sales if the 2nd tags.

If it's not a typo, everyone should get their money back since they did not indicate in the regs that the date was different from the late season like it has been for the last ten years, at least.

Glad I quit buying those overpriced things.

I made sure to mark the calendar well in advance for that very reason. I filled my second deer tag last weekend.

Its not a typo. We are headed up in the morning, my dad and niece both have second doe permits. Its a good thing I looked at dads card tonight and noticed it was not good for this late season. The permit second doe was good last weekend not this weekend. Im sure a few tickets will be written if they are waiting on the Ferry checking folks Sunday. I called Mill Creek and the gal said dates are correct.

Politicians like Jay Inslee are the reason we have the 2nd Amendment

Almost unbelievable that they would make the second deer tag have its own late season (especially with no indication that it was a change), but then again it is WDFW.  I feel sorry for all of you that had that $$ and opportunity wasted by our illustrious wildlife dept.   :bash:
