How do you tell the difference between males and females? Is it the same as cougar? Is it obvious? I have very little exp with bobcats.

thanks I wasn't sure if those would be showing or not. When I killed my first tom cougar they where not very pronounced so I wasn't sure about the bobcat. Thanks for your time

     I can see how getting a look at those while in the trap is difficult but I'd guess after a while you can tell by just looking at a cat. With house cats I can normally tell if it's a tom or not by just looking at it, larger more blocky head. Wider chest excetra. Is this true to the bobcats aswell for you more experienced cat trappers?
