Grandpas Montana Muley Buck.
« on: December 26, 2015, 10:24:29 AM »
Headed up to my grandparents yesterday for the first time since my grandpa has been back from Montana. Finally got to see the buck that he got over there in person, it's awesome to see how happy he is with it. I was curious what you guys would think he'd score?
I hope you all had a great Christmas and have a happy new year!

Nice buck, holds mass through very well. I would guess 175-182" on the score. Grandpa got a good one

I was amazed by the mass when I picked it up, I couldn't touch my fingers when I wrapped my hands around the bases. I'd love to make my way over there with him :chuckle:

Nice buck. Great G3s, kind of short on Mains and G2s. Rough guess I say 168-172".

Scratch that, I was zoomed in on the straight on picture only. With closer inspection at the side shots his Mains are longer then I thought. And his mass is better than I thought. New guess us 173-178"

I think 182"
I see a 165" type frame, with awesome eye guards and some extras.

Wow, great buck for grandpa!

I think this buck grosses really well.  He's got 10-11" in G1s alone, then add in the split and there's 13-14".  I think the mass clouds the length a little too.

MB:  23/23
G1:  5/6
G2:  13/12
G3:  10/13
G4:  10/7

61 + 61 = 122

Extras:  12
Mass:  38
Spread credit:  23

= 195
