100 bucks can get three ExOfficio undershorts.  Maybe even four if you wait for a sale!

Total convert! I will say I'm still a huge fan of the First Lite ones, but they fall apart when you look at them. Bought a pair of Exos last year to wear side by side comparison throughout the season...

By the end of backpacking season Exos were the ones I reached for first!

I bought three Exo shorts when Cabela's had them on sale.  Figured they were worth a try and I expected they would be "Hunting Only" shorts at that still outrageous price.  I mean shouldn't there be a half dozen in a bag for that price?  Anyway, after the first hunt I came home and tossed all my other shorts in the trash!  I have more money in Exo shorts now than the wife has in shoes

  Hard to argue with the EXO's, great underwear. Make life in the mountains much easier.

   A quality bino harness, is so worth the money. AGC or FHF are my first choices. I prefer FHF because of the smaller profile, but believe AGC may have a smaller version now. No more constant fiddling with fit, and stretch and riding up under my pack.

   Gaiters- Kinda like underwear, cant have enough. I have a variety for different hunts. Noise not an issue, kuiu, OR, or Sitka stormfront. If noise conscious I like kennys.

   Supplements- This was my first year playing with supplements. I noticed a significant difference in my long term performance over the course of the 3+ weeks chasing elk.

The exo's do last a really long time, but they STINK bad... Wool is where it's at. Smartwool, icebreaker, wooley's

I'm with Jackelope.  Darn Tough socks are amazing and they come with a lifetime warranty.  Buy seven pairs and you never need to buy socks again.

I've been hearing about these socks, so I'm going to order some right now.

My buddy literally wears them till they have holes in them, then sends them back and they send him new ones.

I'll second this comment. Have a bunch of these and love them! Have lasted a long time with constant use.

Gaiters #1, I have had 1 trip ruined after hiking in 5 miles because I did not bring a set. Water from brush ran into my boots and before I new it I was dumping water out of both boots and had to turn around and hike out. If I could find a decent set with what money was left trekking poles #2.

Im sitting here kinda bored so I got to thinking about hunting like I always seem to do when I'm bored. The question is if you had 100 dollars to spend on a piece of gear right now what would it be. Maybe not something essential but something that would just make your life in the mountains a little easier or more comfortable. So 100 dollars laying around what would you spend it on.

I'd buy a handful of SeatoSummit eVent dri sac's..  One for my clothes,sleeping bag,food/stove/fuel(D-ring to hang in tree away from bears) and the smallest one they make for my fire starter/firstaid kit.   All my stuff stays waterproof/organized and the one I use for my clothes doubles as one hell of a pillow...  Best/favorite pieces of gear I own.  Keeps blood from boned out meat off all my stuff too.  Money..
