Columbia Walleye - Bank fishing around Wenatchee?
« on: May 19, 2016, 09:40:46 PM »
Looking for a spot to take my 4 year old to fish off the bank this weekend. We are headed over for just one night and not going to take the boat.

Anyone know a spot that is good access and can throw a line in for some eyes?

Might try below rocky reach. Down by the boat ramp. It's off 97a turn right at the pull off area before u reach the dam. Lots of water moving thru there.

I have fished from shore down at the park in town. It is the park mentioned above. I only caught squaw fish and white fish but is a nice park and fun for kids. The guys at Hooked on Toys said every once in a while someone catches a walleye from there, usually in the low light hours. Good luck and have fun.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

We went to walla walla park and we hooked one fish but lost it. It was fun just to get my son out. He was super excited and is a natural at casting already at 4 years old.
