SD card

(1/1)

spoonman:
So I have 3 trail cams and they all take pics and video fine. The problem I am having is I use to check the images with a regular camera out in the field so I didn't have to take them home to check but the regular camera does not detect images anymore, I've also tried other regular camera's and they don't read the cards either but when I take the card home and plug it in my computer it reads the card just fine?!?! Is there a specific reader or camera you guys use to check images out in the field? Or a special SD card?

I have a sd card adapter that I plug into my phone. Best 20 bucks I've spent.
Just make sure to get the right one for your phone. Apple vs android.

If your camera is older, the larger size sd cards may not work. My camera takes 2 gb cards max, so that's what I tried to use in my trail cameras. I did use some 4 gb cards, and in that case I would bring my laptop along to view and save the photos. The card readers you can buy for Apple products do not work in iPhones. I tried that. It works in an iPad but not the phone.

All I have is 32gb cards. I have a android so I'll look for a reader that works for my phone
