Well done Shane,
Thanks for taking the time to turn your hunts into videos. I imagine it's a lot of work

Very inspirational. I look forward to the next one. Possibly 2016  Blacktail?

Be Amazed. Everyday.

Great movie with real passion for hunting. I Love it

But I'm not impress with Barnes ammo performents. I saw that first 2 shots were placed on spot, I don't know about rest of it but I don't see any gut shots were taking it. Shane  I watch all of your videos and almost you are dead on shooter. That's why I have my opinion on low performance of Barnes.

I normally shoot the Barnes but when I finally pulled the rifle out on my second trip it was my buddy Ryan's rifle which was set up for long range shooting. (Big mistake shooting someone else's rifle.) He is using Bergener bullets which he insisted had more knockdown power than any other bullet. Let me say, 7 shots into that bear and I am not impressed at all. My first 2 shots were right on the money and she just kept going. I'm definitely going back to the Barnes (and my own rifle) after that experience.

Nice stuff
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

Is that the Gopro session? seems very stable on your hat bill. do you like that setup. I have the Gopro 3 and it is too heavy to wear even with the headstrap rolls around and moves alot.

Yes it's the GoPro Session.  Overall I like it as it's really light weight and easy to use.  Definitely works just fine on my hat bill.  With that said, I've never been overly thrilled with GoPro footage of a stalk.  For example, here is some footage of a bear at 37 yards and even at that distance and with a cropped video, you can hardly see the bear.

I definitely think there is a time and place for GoPro and you can get some really fun and unique shots with them but for archery stalks, they aren't really anything special.

ah right on. ya ive never really been that impressed with it either, mainly because of the hassle of trying to mount it easily/securely.
