Not complaining at all;  just want to know why this post about a big bull moose is still in the virtual campfire thread (which is a very cool video), and the video I put on it about a huge bear got moved to the bear hunting section?  It wasn't even about hunting bears.

Wow. Really? It's that big a deal? Probably because it's Sunday, we work, we have lives and we don't see everything.

Like I said Mr. Jackelope; I wasn't complaining just wondering what the difference was, that's all.

I was expecting to see the spike bull that someone had posted in the "Is this bull legal in a spike only unit?" elk thread.  Glad I actually checked instead of assuming.

Great bull.

That happens when the pedical breaks too far down when they shed their antlers. It affects the antlers that grow in the future.  Cordova Alaska is famous for having bulls like this. The local biologists speculate that is because of genetics in the herd which was started from a transplant of about a dozen animals. They think one of them was genetically disposed to this problem and because of inbreeding it is pretty common in that herd.

I just can't believe that bull is still around.  How does he make it through hunting season?
