LaPaz Tailhunter International??
« on: January 29, 2017, 06:14:22 PM »
The wife and I are trying to figure out a trip this summer and she threw that out. She loves Mexico, but I get bored quick, so she figured if the fishing kept me busy she could lay around on the beach.  :)

Has anyone ever been?

Twice - It was fun, cheap and generally a very good time...   I felt very safe in that part of Mexico.    Wife doesn't fish very much and had a blast, me it was decent fishing, but the chance of World Class Roster fish made the difference for me...  The captains will do what you want- request Pancho - he will work extremely hard...    Bring your own gear, as some of theirs guys stuff is pretty beat up on, his is pretty good..  They are pretty basic and do not run too far - don't need too.  Fish out of Pangas, but will their butts off for you.  Jonathon and Jill (owners) are a hoot and their bar/restaurant is freaking great, cheap as heck, food excellent- they hooked me on frozen Mojito's!!!!   I am taking my oldest son (23) down again this year for 3 or 4 days of hanging out, catching some Dorados, Striped Marlin, and of course - chasing Rosters.... plus enjoying my Mojitos!!  They have a lot of side stuff, snorkeling, diving, exploring, etc...  Wife - if she doesn't fish, can talk to Jill about other stuff and she will hook her up.  They will take care of you 100%...
