I sold a Winchester marine to a member a few weeks ago. Very solid gun and also took choke tubes so you were not stuck with just a cylinder bore like most defensive shotguns.

I got an 870P MAX way back when they first came out. It stays in the bedroom full of 00. I only keep it in case I have to repeal boarders :chuckle:

All you need is a double-barrel shotgun that you can take outside and fire both rounds off the back porch. Our Uncle Joe said to do this.

I use an old 870 Wing Master that I modified for home defense purposes. 18" cylinder bore, +2 mag extension, Magpul forgrip with streamlight, and a side saddle. keep it cruiser ready. Thing is butter smooth and totally reliable.

going to swap it out for a Mossberg 930SPX however.
