| Lower Snake River Boating Adventure |

I was thinkng about doing a boat trip up the lower SnaKe, putting in at Tri-Cities and heading upstream, locking through the dams and heading to Lewiston/Clarkston. I know there's some Army Corp of Engineer land along the river to camp at, but how are the other amenities - plenty of places to gas up if needed? How long would a trip like that take if I wanted to take my time and do some fishing along the way, but had a sled that could cruise at 30 MPH when I wanted to make some time? |

Patience is a virtue. Tugs and barges can spoil your day, really big and really heavy. Locks have been down longer than expected, big back logs. |
