I understand not wanting to spend to much on a dog but just like anything else you buy..you get what you pay for...just be real careful when dealing with some of the lower end breeders. im not talking bad about anyone at all, would just hate for a guy to get a dog and then have some issues that could have been prevented..check out blue sky labs..they are here in western washington...great dogs! feel free to shoot me a pm if you have any questions on them.

I got my lab from Cougar Creek Labs in Arlington.  She has great dogs- good hunters, good manners/temperament, take well to training.  I've been very happy.  She wasn't cheap, but worth every dollar.  It's like you always hear, you get what you pay for.  And, when you amortize the price over the 14-15 year lifespan of a lab, it's really not expensive.
