"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

Here's my first Bear, killed on Nov 5th while Elk hunting in the 574. Cut his tracks and shot him five minutes later. I didn't get any great photos with him as my son is a very horrible photographer...lol.  Nose to tail he is 5' 5". He must have been just fighting as he had several fresh cuts on his snout and a gash 2" long and 1/2" deep on his chest.

Beautiful bear, Jason!
Thank you.

I skinned him out for a rug, but have since changed my mind and I'm going to have a half mount done.

Real nice bear.
Yes, my FJ is pink, I'm all about Team Jacob, beer is not for the horses nor is whiskey for the men, they are both for me.

He had a very nice and thick coat. Completely jet black, even his snout is black. And the white patch is very cool, a bonus for sure.
