Hey everyone i was able to draw a goat rocks tag and hoped to talk to people that have experience in there. Hopefully some of you that have hunted it the past couple years can help with access, advice, numbers you have seen. This site is awesome that way and good look to everyone on this years hunts.

I got one too. That's 2 of the 5 tags accounted for.

I have been in there a lot, pretty much if you get above timberline you will be in lots of goats. I have lots of info, but I can't get you in there. I would contact kent with white pass outfitters, he has lots knowledge as well as very helpfull. And can get you set up in there. But if you want more info from me your welcome to pm me

Let us help you get That Trophy of a lifetime !!! If your going to do it your self make sure you call the FS there is limited access do to a lot of roads washed out. Its a 5 hr horseback ride for us to get into good Billy country. So do your homework and get into shape. Best of luck !!!

I was there Sunday and it wasn't bad. I'm pretty sure the smoke has gotten worse since then though.
