We got skunked again this year. We had 5 cow tags, and did not fill 1 of them. The only elk I had seen were in Box Spring Canyon and an they were running. I wasn't able to get a shot off at any of them. Saw alot of deer, a couple 2 points and a monster 5x6 with a drop tine. I was wishing I had a muzzleloader deer tag. |

I hunted hard the first 2 days of modern deer,down in the sagebrush . Along with about 100 other people . Looked like a giant pumpkin patch . Deer were really spooky. Saw one shooter buck for about 5 seconds. I may have to head up to Box Canyon . Slenk |

Slenk, i saw 1 smaller 3 pt, and 2 2pts. in box spring. they were around the water hole along the lo rd. The monster buck i saw was on the northside of mccabe place along the elk fence. He was a bruiser. hope hes still there next year. |
