WOOHOO!! New critter gitter!
« on: March 01, 2009, 08:25:06 PM »
In my quest for a true lightwieght backpacking rifle I finally found something that will work (if it shoots  ;) ). Its a Browning Abolt Mountain Titanium in 7wsm. I just lapped the Talleys and mounted the scope tonight. Going to the WDFW meeting in Ellensburg next Sat, so I might have to take a day off to go shoot it  :chuckle:
I am excited this thing is pretty lite.  :)

Anyone have a pet load for the 7wsm?

It's a good thing you are a bigger dude so you can absorb the kick. :chuckle:

I want a re-measure.

What kind of scope is on there?  A leupold ultralight?

Give us a full picture of that puppy on the scale  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Nice looking gun and I love the weight.  Hope it shoots and has lots of eye relief. :)

That sounds like a real nice rig. I hope she treats you well.

I've got a Browning (A-bolt stainless stalker in 300 win mag) that's the best shooter I have.
May the morning silence be broken with the wisp of vanes trailing blades to their mark.

Very nice, I've been thinking on that exact setup my slef, maybe go with 270wsm for myself, still not sure.  Whatta ya got into that setup, right around 2k i'm guessing.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
