Hoyt vortec 32
« on: February 11, 2018, 12:55:09 PM »
Recently acquired a fully set up ready to hunt 2013 hoyt vortec 32 for a deal from a friend. It's set at 70lbs right now (way overkill for my shoulder) but I shot it a few times and the bow performs well and shoots good and accurate. I currently shoot a 2006 Hoyt lazrtech which I love but after some reading the vortec was available with lighter limbs. Maybe a good bow to train the wife on???? Online I saw this bow came factory 30-70 lbs but I'm struggling to find a light set of limbs. I found several 50-60 but ideally looking for 40-50 for the wife. Would call my local shop (Fletcher setters in Rainier) but he isn't open till Tuesday. Any ideas folks anyone have a set laying around  :dunno:

If it's a 2013 i'm pretty sure you meant Vector 32,  the Vortec was early 2000's.   Anyways your best bet would be to post a WTB ad for the limbs on archerytalk.  I've been able to find cams, limbs, etc for fair price.  Back when i had my Hoyt Carbon Element 70-80lbs i took it to the shop in Rainer.  I had it cranked all the way down to 70, but was searching for 60-70limbs.  Shop guy said it needed to be special ordered from hoyt and was atleast $200.  Called hoyt myself but they won't sell parts to anyone expect certified dealers.  Heck i only paid $250 for the bow, sure wasn't going to put another $200 into it.  So  I ended up just selling the bow and picking up a 60-70 Vector 35.  Same bow as yours just taller ata.

For the price of replacement limbs i know of a newer Hoyt Ignite at a local pawnshop.  Fit for mostly smaller frame like women and children to grow - 300fps, 28ata, adj 19-30dl, and fully adj 15-70lbs.  I'm pm ya the info
