+ I've had hunting on the brain a lot lately...Wife said I need to use coasters more.So I traced the WA GMU's, added my favorite forum, laser-ed the image onto some walnut plywood and added a cut off shell casing in the GMU where I got my first deer.I'm pretty impressed with myself right now and had to share! (image upload isn't playing nice with me right now, I'll try to fix it later)https://photos.app.goo.gl/xDRJXbI8XMf9OKAf1https://photos.app.goo.gl/OkIBUAr9Cbadw0DG2
That is awesome. 2 questions though...What kind of beer is that. What kind of tool and program and thingamajig did you use to make that?

What is more awesome than a fricken laser? Have you laser etched 3d stuff yet?
Lol, you 3d printed a rock???
If your spelling of captin was intentional, I like your sense of humor.
I have a Glowforge laser. Waiting for it about killed me, but it's awesome now that it's here.
That's super cool. I looked them up. It really cost $4k
Time for you to sell those and become a site sponsor. I'll take 6 please, GMU 572.

I'm curious, did you purchase this to do/make things to sell or is it strictly a hobby kind of thing? Either way, looks like a very cool device.

It really cost $4k Thanks, it's always hard to gauge if what I think looks good other people will like too. I bought during the initial 30 day funding campaign when prices were a little lower. For what it can do it’s still priced competitively. Dremel is supposed to be coming out with a laser cutter soon, it’ll be interesting to see how that goes. Can’t say I was expecting to sell these… I was just playing with my shiny new toy. Let me take a closer look at site sponsorship and get back to you. What caliber shell would you want to use to mark GMU 572?Quote from: b23 on February 27, 2018, 11:57:37 AMQuote from: Redstar on February 25, 2018, 06:26:26 PMI have a Glowforge laser. I bought it for a little of both, I started a small CAD and 3D printing business in 2015 and have been able to slowly grow. I’m still learning how to use the laser. The only regular laser-ed product I have right now is an engraved leather pet ID tag for use on an invisible fence. Sounds like I should go for the forum sponsorship and not test the no advertising rule...
The Caliber doesn't matter really, as I'm an archer. Whatever you have is good. Any idea of the cost yet?
Is the walnut a plywood as well?
